Lisca’s Black-and-White Stories

Lisca’s Black-and-White Stories
September 25, 2025

When we browse through Lisca’s archives, we are always captivated by the black-and-white photographs. There is something timeless about them – an elegance that still catches the eye today. In fashion, such photographs have always held a special status: they beautifully highlight lines and details while creating a touch of artistic refinement. That’s why they still often find their place in contemporary fashion stories.

This time, we are sharing a selection of shots from the 1970s. The focus is on iconic bras, most often in the popular white color, although they were also available in various shades. Each piece reflects the rich expertise in corsetry and bra shaping – knowledge that we continue to apply in creating our shaping models today. Every stitch has its purpose and precise place.

Particularly characteristic were the center-seam stitches and the pointed bra silhouettes. Lace was abundant, and most pieces were adorned with bows, which over time became an iconic lingerie detail and remain a beloved accent today.

Black-and-white photography thus reminds us not only of the aesthetics of the past but also of a heritage of craftsmanship that still lives on in our collections.
