MAINTENANCE
Laundry maintenance
Every woman will be more satisfied with her laundry, the longer its beauty lasts. In order to maintain its shape, color, elasticity and other properties, it is important to remind users about the proper care of their laundry. On the sewn-in labels of each model, there are care and maintenance markings, which, unfortunately, many women do not know or do not take into account when washing.
Check the maintenance symbols on the product label.
We advise
- As a general rule, laundry, especially those with sewn-in supports, should be hand-washed.
The modern way of life and the lack of time force consumers to wash most of their laundry and other clothes in the washing machine. In order to still keep the pieces of laundry beautiful, we wash them in a special mesh laundry bag that protects the shape and appearance of the laundry during washing. - In the case of items with foam baskets, it is important not to crumple, twist or squeeze them too much, because this deforms the shape of the foam basket.
It is very important that the washing machine is not too full, especially when washing bras with foam baskets. The weight of the other laundry can crush them. When taking a bra out of the washing machine, it is also important to straighten the baskets before starting to dry it. - We wash white items of laundry with a universal detergent, and for colored models we use powder for delicate laundry.
We do not use fabric softener when washing laundry because it reduces the strength of the fibers and increases the possibility that the laundry will stretch over time. Also, the addition of softener fills the fine pores between the fibers, so the knitted fabric no longer conducts moisture as effectively as at the beginning. - Are you afraid that your laundry will get stained?
You can avoid this by never washing white or light-colored laundry with clothes of other colors. However, dark laundry often contains more dyes, so it is recommended that you wash it by hand the first time to remove excess dye. - Do not wash any laundry at the highest temperature (90 °C)!
Modern materials and detergents enable proper cleanliness even at lower temperatures. - After washing, hang the laundry, but never dry it in the sun.
Exposure to direct sunlight can cause laundry to turn yellow. Apart from that, air drying is always better for the durability of the laundry than drying in the dryer. After drying, ironing is neither necessary nor recommended for most models.
The maintenance signs on the product labels also help with maintenance. Check the maintenance symbols here.
Swimwear maintenance
Sunscreens, sea and chlorinated water in swimming pools can each individually, and even more so in combination and under the influence of the sun and heat, damage swimwear, especially the rubber elastic and elastomer in the material. It is necessary to follow the instructions for care and maintenance, because in this way we extend the life of the product.
We advise
- Wash by hand, store the swimsuit first, it is recommended to wash in the washing machine at 30° with a mild detergent and with a good rinse to remove the remains of creams, oils, sea and chlorinated water from the swimsuit, as these destroy fine, elastomeric fibers and the result may be their disintegration.
- Do not fold wet swimsuits until they are completely dry.
- Store swimwear in an airtight container and not in plastic bags.
- Wash hard and foam baskets without wringing them.
- Stack them dry inside each other to keep their beautiful, original shape.
- Glowing colors usually lose their intensity under the influence of the sun's rays.
- Gold and lacquer overprints can lose their original luster over time. Wash gently with plenty of water.
- Fats (oils, sun creams, sweat) damage the elastomer, so be sure to follow the maintenance instructions.
