MATERIALS
Materials/Fibers | Label | Properties |
NATURAL FIBERS | ||
BAMBOO | Usually a natural fiber blend of bamboo and eco cotton fibers; gives an extremely pleasantly cool feeling. |
|
COTTON | CO/BW | Natural fiber of vegetable origin - the material is very absorbent. It can also be ironed at higher temperatures. With special treatments cotton can acquire a shiny appearance, eliminate wrinkles and reduce shrinkage. |
SILK | SE | Natural material, luxurious look, pleasant to the skin. Care is a bit more demanding. |
LAN | LI | The material is very absorbent and has a natural shine. It can be washed and ironed at high temperatures. |
FIBERS OF NATURAL ORIGIN | ||
VISCOSE | VI | Regenerated cellulose fiber. The material is pleasant to the touch and pleasant to wear due to breathability. |
MODAL | CMD | Regenerated cellulose fiber with high tensile strength and high modulus of elasticity in the wet. The material is pleasant to the touch, softer made of viscose and pleasant to wear due to its breathability. |
ACETATE | Modified cellulose. The material has a noble appearance, it falls well and full to the touch, a little wrinkled. Low temperature care is easy. |
|
WOOL | WO | It belongs to natural protein fibers of animal origin - sheep hair of different origin. It is very hygroscopic - it can absorb up to 40% of moisture. Wool is one of the lightest natural fibers and is very flexible. It is the material with the largest absorbency (up to 33% without feeling wet); is a good thermal insulator (protects against cold and heat) and wrinkle a little: requires careful care - hand wash at low temperature, gentle treatment and special detergents. |
MODERN FIBERS | ||
POLYAMIDE | PA, PA6, PA66 | Synthetic fiber that is strong and durable and does not wrinkle. Low temperature care is easy. |
POLYESTER | PES | A synthetic fiber that can resemble wool, silk or cotton. Polyester is strong, durable, does not wrinkle or shrink. Care is easy, it also dries quickly. |
ELASTANE | EL | The material has high extensibility and elasticity, in mixtures with other fibers it is used for products that fit the body. |
POLYURETHANE | PUR | It belongs to chemical fibers made from synthetic polymers. Polyurethane consists of a chain of organic units connected by urethane bonds. Polyurethane formulations cover a very wide range of stiffness, hardness and density. Polyurethanes are widely used to make a wide variety of flexible foam, underlay, rigid foam, etc. |
METAL THREADS | ME | Metallic threads appear mainly in fabrics and embroidery. Over time, their use of material and method of production have changed most markedly threads - today it is considered the most common use of metal threads made of aluminum. |
