LINGERIE AND SWIMWEAR MAINTENANCE

Lingerie Maintenance

Every woman will be so much the better satisfied with her exact fit fashion lingerie as long as its beauty lasts. To retain the shape, colour, elasticity and other qualities of lingerie, the woman consumers should be directed to regular care. There are care instructions on the sewn-in care labels for each model, but in spite of all that many women are unfortunately ignorant of them or pay no regard to them during the wash.

As a rule the lingerie, all the more that with sewn-in props, ought to be hand washed. A contemporary way of life and lack of time hustle woman consumers into washing their lingerie by washers. Still to keep the lingerie articles looking beautiful longer, we use a lingerie wash bag to protect the shape and sight of lingerie.

We recommend

  • It is important not to crumple, twist and wring padded bras because it may cause the deformation of the bra cups.
It is also important that the washing machine is not too full – the weight of the rest of the laundry may squash them. When you take them out of the washing machine the cups should be smoothened before drying.
  • Are you frustrated by the discoloration of your lingerie?
This can be avoided by separating your white laundry from the laundry of other colours. Darker fabrics contain more colorants and it is advisable to wash them by hand fist time, to remove the redundant dye.
  • In general, it is true to wash white lingerie articles with an universal detergent, while coloured models ought to be washed with a gentle detergent for sensitive lingerie. We do not use a softener as it breaks down the fibre firmness and enlarges the possibility of the shape stretching out with time. Likewise, the softener's alloys fill up thin pores among fibres and make a knitwear impossible to conduct effectively the humidity as at the biginning.
  • No lingerie is allowed to be washed at the highest temperature (90 °C)! Up-to-date materials and washing agents make proper cleanness feasible at lower temperatures.
  • The lingerie ought to be hung after the wash but never dried up in the sun as the exposure to direct sunbeams can cause the lingerie yellow. Moreover, the air drying is always better for lingerie duration than drying up in a dryer. The ironing of most models after drying is neither necessary nor recommendable.

As help with keeping of lingerie are maintenance signs stated at products' sewn-in labels.

Swimwear Maintenance

Sun creams, sea water or chlorinated water in swimming pools may all cause separately damage to your bathing suit. The destructive effect increases if these factors are combined, and your suit is exposed to the sun or heat – in particular, the elastic band and the elastomer in the material are effected. So please do consider the following instructions, because you will extend the life span of your bathing suit.

We recommend

  • Handwash your swimsuit after every use. Before storing it, it is recommended to wash it in a washing machine at 30° using gentle detergent and good rinsing to remove residues of creams, oils, seawater and chlorinated water that destroy fine elastomeric fibers, which can result in their decomposition.
  • Do not store your bathing suit until completely dry.
  • Bathing suits must be stored in an aired room, never in a plastic bag.
  • Stiff and spongy cup linings must not be crushed when washed. Dry cup linings are laid one into the other, so the primary shape will be preserved. Fluorescent colours normally lose intensity under the influence of sun rays.
  • Gold and lacquer imprint may lose its primary gloss with time. Wash gently with much water.
  • The presence of grease (oil, sun cream, sweat) damages the elastomer, so do pay attention to the instructions for care.
